Bluffing/deduction game "Raubbau" is now in Public Alpha

Post by Matthias X »

Hi,

Raubbau is now in Public Alpha (3 to 5 players). In and out, 30 minute adventure!
Raubbau is a fast-paced deduction/bluffing game. It looks like a tile-laying game, but the heart of Raubbau are psychological mind-games (highly interactive - but without "take that!").

Any feedback is greatly appreciated. (I'm the designer of the game: If you have feedback concerning game design, it's appreciated as well.)
I hope you enjoy the game!

(26.09.: Raubbau moved from Private to Public Alpha: All of the reviewers who already played the game, should now be able to leave a review. At least I hope so.)

11.10.: I added a short tutorial for a better entry into the game. See "rules".

Hi all,

sorry for the re-post.
No need to shy away from Raubbau because it's an unknown game!
The rules are fairly simple ( and you can download them on BGG), gameplay is fast, no down-time.

Please give it a try. Feel free to comment in the group.
If you like it, please spread the word (there are 3 times more tables created than started, which is kind of sad).

All the best,
Matthias

Just to make sure, the game *is* meant to be in private alpha and not appearing in the reviewer page for approval along with the rest of the alpha games, right? I know that unknown games languish in normal alpha (and that sucks), but I'm not sure what's the expectation for private alpha.

I would also be happy to test it, but can't seen the game. Joining the group didn't help.

Hi Spiegel, hi Shazzypaz, I asked BGA to put it into Public Alpha. Did'nt know that you can't play the game even if you join the group (because some strangers already played it). I'm hoping that they change the category to Public Alpha soon. Thanks for your interest. I'll inform you as soon as Raubbau is in Public Alpha.

Have a nice day!
