Karma lowered by bugs forcing me to quit

Hi,

I'm a new BGA player, struggling to keep my Karma points because I've had a series of bugs I've run into that force me into quitting a game early because it becomes non functional or times me out. This has happened 3 times in a row in two separate games and my karma has taken a serious hit.

How can I recover these karma points? What can be done to prevent loss of karma points when bugs appear in the future?

What is the bug?
Is it from bga (really unlikely)?
Is it because you are using something weird (opera, iphone, ...)?
Is it from you, like a connexion from your side which randomly stop sometimes?

Karma is a representation in how much of a trustworthy player you are to provide an enjoyable game, most commonly towards actually completing games.
This is not just about the player, but also their connection. If your internet cuts out, why should other players suffer because of it? Your internet, your responsibility. Your device, your responsibility. Your clock that is ticking, your responsibility to make moves on time.

Now ofcourse it may happen infrequently that something happens, and that karma is very quickly regained by playing next games without a hitch.

BGA can have a problem once in a blue moon(very, very rarely) due to server issues, but that too would only impact few games, and it would be the same for everyone. These problems are also addressed properly.
But again, those are so rare, it never affected me or my plays.

Then there are bugs in the games individually, actual bugs. Those are addressed by bug reports. So if you complain about bugs, which bug report did you send in for which game?

Which game? If it's a beta game, note that you have to accept the fact that this can happen (bugs in the game causing karma loss), if you are not willing to accept it, don't tick the checkbox and don't play beta games.

Do you have a bad connection? That could cause the problem.

One of the games you played, Splendor, is popular and had been around for a long time. It's very unlikely there is a bug.

Also remember that you are playing real-time games, which means you only have 20-30 seconds per move. You should watch your clock OR only play turn-based games.
