I answered this before:

I don't use the automatic lobby, and I still get messages from tables I join, and quit before they start.

That's something else then; can you describe concisely and clearly the use case in which you encounter this?

Under normal circumstances, in manual mode you are subscribed to the channel when you display the table page (so that you can discuss options and such before joining) and you are unsubscribed when you close or browse out of the table page. With multiple open tabs, it could just be that you kept some table pages open while playing in another tab.

I'm not sure what the exact circumstances are. It's for sure in manual mode. It could be that it happens only when I open the table page, and not if I stay in the lobby. I usually don't have other tabs open, but it could be that it only happens when I have another tab (probably at the lobby or the forum). The thing is, it occurs even when I explicitly quit the table (not just browse away). I'll try to find something reproducible.

Quick test. I joined two tables. Only one BGA tab in the browser.

1. From the lobby, I clicked join and then quit, immediately.

2. From the table page. I entered the page, there I clicked join and then quit, immediately. Then went back to the lobby.

In both cases I got messages about other players joining and quitting the table after I had already left.

In the second case, I also got messages from the chat while the game was in progress. I don't know if there were any further messages in the first table, but if there were, I didn't get them.

Correction: I get chat messages from both tables. I don't know if it was all the messages, or just some of them, but certainly chat messages from the tables I had already quit (and never played or visited while playing).

Thanks for the test and description. This is indeed not the expected behaviour. We'll look into this...

EDIT: it might actually be the expected behaviour. I did a quick test and it looks like you stay subscribed until you close the chat message window for this table. So this might be voluntary to allow you to get messages after the game is over or solve some other cases where communication needs to go through. Does that information (just close the message window) solve this use case for you?

I described earlier how it happens when you never interacted with a table but someone else put in your name. Could you also cancel being subscribed to table chat in that case? It doesn't make much sense to subscribe to table chat when I never did anything concerning that table.

Well - it didn't happen to me recently - so it might be fixed already in which case thank you, i didn't know :D

I can confirm that not being on table site, and closing the popping up discussion box may still not ubsubscribe you from discussion in the table you are no longer in. This applies to both leaving game before start, and after it ended.
Last time I had this problem I think simple website refresh worked.
Also I have a feeling that the problems like this happen when I got two BGA tabs open. It usually causes frustrating glitches. For example on one tab playing real time, and on other watching /gameinprogress page, when you get award after real time game, you can confirm it there, and when you move to other tab, you again get the award popup but cannot confirm or skip it, nees to refresh.
Not mentioning the intended "highjacking" all the tabs when a table game start confirmation pops up. But I can understand and get away with this one.
But there are also other glitches like getting chat pop-up on every tab when you receive message. While I am on one of the BGA tab, see the message, whats more, answer to it or close the window I would expect to not see that message once again on every other tab. In this case showing a message once, on the first tab that you will focus on would be ideal (with still getting the message sound, even if not focused on any BGA tab)
