Being matched to wrong settings

Anyone else having this issue? I play mainly fast-turn-based games, and have very strict hours set. The game regularly (every few days) matches me to a fast turn-based game with no time limitations (24 hours). This leads to me having to ask the other players to abandon the game otherwise I will for sure run out of time while I'm sleeping, and end up losing reputation. I've reported multiple times but no luck so far. Just curious if this is happening to anyone else.

My suspicion is that if it can't match you after a certain amount of time, it's extending into settings you have set as "never", which I think is completely unacceptable, especially with how the reputation system works. Hopefully they fix this.

There is no such thing as a fast-turn based game with no hours.
It's either

8 moves a day or faster with time-zone settings, [fast]
or
4 moves a day or slower without time-zone settings. [standard]

sounds like it started a 4 moves a day game (or slower).
With a 4-player game that averages out as 1 move for you (per player) per day, unless the other players play very quickly.

I looked through the user's games and did find a fast turn-based game (12 moves/day) that indeed has no playing hours set.

It's clearly a bug, but I'm not sure if it is a Barenpark bug or affects other games.

Thanks for providing links to the concerned tables.
We have been able to reproduce one case where this could happen (although not matching current OP's playing hours preferences) and have prepared a fix for next release.
