Suggestion for turn-based games

Hi, I've been noticing that turn-based games are lasting months in some cases, with ppl making a single move using the whole time at their disposal (in my case I'm playing Azul, so 3 days max) after the move the time starts over (another 3 days)! Is that right? If yes, my suggestion is to give 3 days to complete the game entirely, not a single move, that would be nice because games are literally lasting months! If not possible, just thinking about making this a little faster please!

1) there is a subsection entirely for suggestions, it's litterally named Suggestions
2) it is the pople responsible for opening up the tables determining the time for tables, x moves per day. Most likely you are only joining tables 1 move per 2 days.

Why don't you join or open quicker tables?

Edit: ah, yes, you are a standard account and Azul is a Premium game, so you can't open tables yourself. Why don't you get Premium?

I am currently playing a turn based game that has been ongoing for more than a year and is only half way through - no issue with it, its a long game.

People set time limits that suit them - if you want to play premium games and you don't want to get premium then you are at the mercy of the preferences that do. That sucks for you but it isn't a bug and it does not need fixing. The system allows you to set times that suit you (and there are very fast turn based games that require many moves a day to be played) so there is not actually a problem with the way the site works (on this one specific point) even if it does not suit you well.

Even with a standard account you can choose to join only fast paced games, if you use the Manual tab in the games lobby.

If slow games bother you, you can also avoid joining games with beginners: they each get double the time set for the game, which can add up fast.

Hi, thank you for your replies! Maybe I forgot to mention that I'm referring to arena games, I don't think ppl can set things up in this mode, right? As they can do in simple game mode! I think it was pretty obvious that I wasn't talking about that mode!!!

And I don't get what's is your point when you suggest getting premium...... This "problem" exists even for premium players... It's not a problem linked to the standard account, but related to the arena rules for turn-based games!!!

For Arena games, there is a little gear icon next to the game box icon. That gear icon brings up a dialog that lets you set the game speed.

I think the suggestions to get premium were because people thought you were playing simple games, so you would need to be premium to start your own Azul games with the speed setting you wanted.
