Setting options when starting a game

Post by uncreative username »

I did a search, but couldn’t find an answer. Might simply be using the wrong terms.

When I start a game, do I have the opportunity to set options for that specific game? For example, if I’m starting a game of Azul, can I choose how many players I want in the game? Can I choose if I want normal or quick speed?

Yes, you can adjust the settings for every game you create.

Yes, but in the 3 column at the top, choose "manual" and then you can set all the options the way you want

This was the part I was missing. Thank you!

Can someone please explain what the different options for game speed mean? 🤔 I don't find they are self explanatory in every aspect and I could not find any information in the forum as well. Thanks!

When you set up a game, you can select a speed to see what it means. For example 1 turn / day means you start with that amount of time, but each turn nets you +24 hours, for a max of 3 days. 2 turns / day turns that into +12 hours per turn, for a max of 36 hours. And so on.

Note that this works differently in tournaments.
