Written forms: Beta ≠ BETA? Alpha ≠ ALPHA?

Post by Philoupino »

In a lot of strings of the main site, the words Alpha and Beta are used, mainly concerning games and concerning tutorials.
Why are there sometimes the written forms ALPHA / BETA, and sometimes Alpha / Beta, and sometimes "Alpha" / "Beta" with quotation marks (eg. https://boardgamearena.com/translation? ... 22%20games)?

Could there be everywhere the words Alpha / Beta for example?
Sorry if you think this subject is not really enthralling... you might be right  ;)
