black and green fields - what is the rule?

Post by bankol »

Hello

Can someone explain to me why some options are in black (inactive) and some in green (active), previous turn both -2 production were in black, now they are green. Now I can't use last option for wrenches or machines (3 engineers + 3 coins) - I have enough coins and engineers of course and I think they were green last turn so it kind of spoiled my plan. What is the rule for that?

Regards

Green means doable, black means not doable. You need 3 coins (for the paying spots) + 5 coins (for the action itself) for that last action so you probably have somewhere between 5 and 7 coins, but not 8.
Same for production, you can't place your engineer on a spot if you are not going to produce at least 1 energy. So if your best production is 2, with the -2 malus you got 0 and thus you can't take that spot.

Also, please post in the dedicated game forum instead of here, you will get more answers over there ;)

Thanks for the explanation. Indeed I overlooked that 5 coins for action (somehow I took it for cost of action on the left with 2 engineers :P) I get it also now how why my -2 production is on - makes perfect sense.

Yeah was writing it in a hurry so sorry for the mess (wrong section).

Thanks a lot.
