Lobby view, filter by variant?

In the lobby it would be useful to be able to filter game variants within a game lobby area.

For example Race for the Galaxy has a large number of variant expansions and people wanting to play one specific variant can end up waiting a while having to try and wade through the dozens of base games that appear and disappear. It would be nice to be able to filter by variant so you don't see base game/alien orb or other expansions you're not interested in at that time.

Edit if possible it would be nice if the "some players are in Arena mode" could also self-filter out of the way if the arena variant doesn't match either. Arena is often set to one of the two newest (and most complicated) variants so I can't play those. Asking me to arena all the time is just taking up screen real estate for no gain.

I think this should be possible, so I don't know what exactly your problem is.

Are you talking about the old or the new lobby? Do you want to host or join a table? Or do you think of being invited to a table?
