Vision on double horizontal roads

It would be better to fill the double horizontal roads at the top first so that we can better see that there is still a second possible lane underneath. Pittsburgh-New-York for example.

It wouldn't work as it would change the available color ! (green on bottom is taken, white on top is available).
But I'm thinking to shift a little train cards on double roads to make sure the other route is visible.

Of course you’re right. I even forgot, it was not a double greys. These ones are mostly verticals. Thks
