Has rate of Karma increase changed?

There's a player with a low Karma that I've been watching out of morbid curiosity. Sometimes their Karma has gone right to 0%, but it seems to increase by more than 1% for each on-time finished game. Sometimes the Karma increases by 2% and sometimes by 3%. The FAQ still says it increases by 1%.
