Better search Options?!

Hi everyone,

i am new here and i want to search for a game based on the 4 Stats:

- complexity
- strategy
- luck
- interaction

but all i can search for is:

- number of players
- play time
- complexity (not bases like the stat from 1-5 just based on family game, new player, advanced player)
- thema (for me totaly useless search function)
- mechanics
- specification

so is there a way to search for the 4 stats instead?
Because i dont want to play games over a luck stat of 1

Hi,

I think sometimes the stats you mentionned (complexity, strategy, luck, interaction) are not so easy to set to reflect entirely the game.
For example, in many games playing with the minimum/maximal number of players reduces/increases the luck effect. Or some games have variants which can make the game more or less strategic and change the complexity.

If the automatic search does not give what you want, maybe you can try the community search. Nothing official about it: explain in the forum which are your specific preferences and ask what players recommend.

Although I agree with Nastaa, there should be a possibility to search for complexity, strategy, luck and interaction. Because exactly these 4 categories are already defined for every game on BGA! You can see them on the page of each game on the bottom right side.

On the other hand there is no guarantee that the numbers given will be the same as you (or even the majority) would assign them. So maybe the best solution is to follow Nastaas tip and ask the community. And then try yourself...
