Thanks, it did not appear to be associated with a game so I assumed it was a BGA achievement like Genius...

Wow. Just wow. Is there any way to know this, and what other achievements mean too? I mean, besides getting them or seeing them in someone's profile?

I think many (like Hacker, Tilt, BGAYam, etc.) are intentionally cryptic

Yes, most are self explanitory. Still, it would be nice to have a compiled list of those achievements, provided by BGA, rather than everyone has to check each achievement individually the way you describe.
