How do you select a scenario

Can anyone help talk me through when/how you get to see and choose a scenario to play? I'm new here. I looked to play a game and when bag found me an opponent we went straight to a scenario .. did my opponent choose it ? How do I select a scenario to play?

Hi Jaykayis.

Most of the time people play "random" - which is a mix of the official scenarios. If you're a premium member you can also chose to play any of the official scenarios - or set up a training match, which allows you to play any Memoir44 scenario from the editor you have on your computer.

If you're not premium you can only chose between "Pegasus Bridge" and "Mere St.Eglise" (the parachute one).

I'm hoping the BGA team will make a specific list of scenarios for new players - because some of the "beginner" scenarios risks giving new players a less than fun first experience of the game.

Yes that's true. Especially Pegasus Bridge is not a fun scenario for me players. Winning as the Axis is next to impossible, (it is more about damage control).

There are better official scenarios for recruits to be found.
