Cards That Are Fields

Post by Gaidzahg »

Much like the original version, there are some cards that say they are fields; however, they do so without the disclaimer that they are not counted during scoring. Does that mean they do count as fields for scoring in this version?

Lumin has an unofficial compendium here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1WUl ... 1oZ6E/edit

Relevant passages:
Field - the new generic term for both "field tile" and "field card".
Field tile - term for the tiles you place on your farmyard board.
During scoring, only field tiles give you points.
Field card - term for occupations and improvements that self-identify as fields.

Fields are scored just like they were in Original, where you want 5+ field tiles placed on your farmyard. However, cards like Beanfield are now officially fields for prerequisites.
Beanfield + 3 field tiles = 2 points for scoring, and 4 fields for prerequisites.
I do find it confusing that the field cards count for prerequisites but not for points.
