Create games and let friends join

Post by iTrouble »

Hey folks,

I am playing a lot on BGA and I am planning to play even more. However, I am missing a feature that would let me open games and enable my friends to join this game if they wish to. So to be clear, I let the seats open and only my friends can join until the game is full. First come first serve.

We often play games over a couple of days, but I never know who of my friends really wants to play a game I want to play and if they have time, so I always need to ask frist before invite, otherwise games will be dropped and need to be setup again.

Just wondering if that makes any sense.

PS: Same functionality, but for groups would be great as well!

Just my thoughts...

Game on!

When you create a table in manual mode, click on Restrict table access link, it's exactly what you're looking for.

I really found a button who let me restrict to level of players, reputation etc. but the function regarding friends and groups was deactivated. I was in the new UI for creating a game... not sure what the manual mode is.

For full control on creating tables you need to use the old lobby (Play now on top of the page). The new lobby still lacks a lot of features.
