I've noticed that the all time leaders in ELO in some games are maintaining their position simply by playing games in training mode. There is a rule on the books that states that if a player doesn't play a game, they will be removed from the ELO standings even though their ELO will not be affected. Allowing people to maintain their standing by playing in training mode seems to go against the point of the rule, I think.
