Of course as we both played with the bug, and I wasn't serious when I asked to replay, I even you the court to make the sentence as ironic as possible :D

Result of match Jeronimon vs Sir Benethor

Jeronimon (Axis) - Sir Benethor (Allied) : 7 - 3
Jeronimon (Allied) - Sir Benethor (Axis) : 7 - 4

Enjoyable games against a player who has very recently learned the game. Not all the Japanese rules were known to him, but I only found that out halfway through the second game. After I explained them, he upped his game to incorporate the new knowledge quickly but it was too late to recuperate.

Sorry for that.

Thanks for playing and I hope you do buy a physical copy of memoir'44 and we will see you IRL somewhere at a playday or tournament. :)

As I said before: some of us have been playing Memoir'44 for years and if you are a new player tell us so we can help you understand the game better. (or read up on the information on the BGA page for memoir'44 :) )

That way the games will be more fun for everybody. :)

But you have a long way to catch up ;)

A useful resource for players, new and not so new, is the DoW M44 Card databases.
https://www.daysofwonder.com/memoir44/e ... compendium

Use the link and then choose the database you want to use.

Result of match jpfra vs lucky91450

lucky91450 (Axis) - jpfra (Allied) : 7 - 4
lucky91450 (Allied) - jpfra (Axis) : 2 - 7

A very good game. In the second, lucky has stopped my attack on my left flank and was close to destroy it but a surprise assault on my right flank leading to the medal capture give me victory before he could destroy my left flank

Winn81 (8) vs franskietje (14)

Winn81(Axis) - franskietje (Allied) : 2 - 7
Winn81(Allied) - franskietje (Axis) : 6 - 7

The dice rolled like nothing could stop them from hitting for me.
Winn81 tried to build a slow but strong offense (first round) but artillery and the bunker troops wreaked havoc.
Second round followed the same pattern, with me building up a slow attack, and Winn81 building defensive lines, but the Japanese troups kamikaze'd their way through

Apart from a lot of luck on my side, a great opponent who fought for what he was worth.
