[GO44] Grand Opening - Round of 32

Hello officers and happy new year !
The fourth round begin now, with a URSS/German scenario during Operation Barbarossa !


The scenario of this round is the Battle of Sokolov ! A highway worth a medal for the Soviet player but garded by a 88 Anti Tank Gun...

To create a custom game : simple game, real time play, manual table. Then select training mode, 2 ways, standard format, scenario from the front, m44 file.
When your opponant is there, load the game, BGA will then ask you to search for the .m44 file .

You have until Sunday, January 8th at 21h (CET) to play this round. When you contact your opponant, please tell him/her your time zone as it can be different from yours ! Remember, this is a REAL TIME EVENT, not turn per turn.

Got very lucky in the first round where the Allies were at 5-1 until the last two rounds, but the unit defending Henrykovka just hung in there long enough to allow me to slaughter the cannons, tanks and occupy a rollbahn hex

Second part was somewhat more balanced but this time Henrykovka proved an easier target for the Axis, and they finished it off with an airstrike

I did not recognize that the river was fordable (word of warning to the rest), but c'est la vie!

I did however recognize that I was paired with a player of greatness and I had no chance to come back (Bacara- = Général d'armée), so I let the victor get a good night's sleep.

Bacara- is a tride and true M44 player and new friend to continue to compete with! @KeLian05, merci beaucoup for organizing this and bonne chance to all!

The bridge over the river near the Russian baseline is overruled by the river. So works as river without bridge.

Weird for the brdge but new version updated !
Sorry for the misunderstandings for the rivers, it should fordable streams, and not fordable river. In french it's "rivière franchissable", so i might know where was the problem here
