Arena mode and simple mode in parallel ?

Hi,

I have never played Arena mode. Can I start a game in Arena mode and still continue ongoing games and tournaments of that same boardgame in simple mode ?

When reading about Arena it feels like all my matches of that game need to be Arena.

Can anyone explain/help ?

If you play a game in Arena mode you can still also play that game in other modes (simple game training)

The restriction of a single real-time game applies. You can have multiple turn-based ongoing games, Arena or not.

If you are still searching games (looking for tables/players), at least in the "old lobby" (the "play now" link on top) you can in principle only have one active search mode: Arena or simple, your current searches/tables are cancelled when you switch mode. But you may be able to work around this by using several browser tabs. This doesn't affect your already started games, of course.
