i don't care as much about the rest but this one is just a race to see who dead draws first and looses.
the others are fairly well balanced that as the side with the advantage with skill you can over come and win, but no even as the side with the advantage if all you draw is left side cards you are screwed.

Many of the scenarios on the list above can and will be won by either side with a little luck and some skill.

Do we really want to dumb this game down by removing the "hard" scenarios?

Yes we do!! Arena is a competitive ladder and scenarios should be balanced for less luck and more player skill play any scenario in regular play they are not going anywhere
Why is Sidi Airfield not used in tournaments?
Because a player can just win by luck I also vote to eliminate any 4 medal scenario

In an unbalanced scenario one's strategy can be about gaining as many medals & figures on the losing side to get the overall victory.

i am only referring to the sidi airfield, as i has never had that fight determined be rolls or skill, only the luck of the draw, whichever side doesnt get card blocked first steamrolls the other. none of the other maps on the list are that determined by card draw.

Well then you haven' played Sidi Rhezeg Airfield enough.

It can be won quickly by the player who gets the best starting cards and dice.
It also can be a strategic battle won by the player who uses their cards wisely and carefully.

We play both sides in the Arena.

Memoir 44 isn't meant to be simple or easy.
PLEASE stop trying to make the game what it is not meant to be.
Accept the challenging scenarios and learn to play them better.

However, this thread was meant to allow people to express themselves freely about which scenarios they would like to eliminate from arena, it was not meant as a place where you tell to each voter he/she is wrong in his/her opinion.

In any case, what should we do of the opinions expressed here? Should I count them to see the percentage of votes in favor of removing each scenario or is the topic too divisive to do something about it? Do the developers have any comment about it? How many voters are enough?

May one ask how many Memoir 44 scenarios you have played, face-to-face or online?
I ask so I might better judge your experience in playing Memoir 44.

I continue to repeat myself because no-one has the points I have raised.

These aren't SFTF scenarios - these are original M44 scenarios from the base game and DoW expansions.

I have played M44 online since the original game was in beta testing.

Never, ever, have I come across such a group of players who don't want to play scenarios because the cards and dice might not favour them.

I am disappointed in the tenor and tone of this discussion. I joined BGA to play M44 as it seemed to be the place the game would be played. It appears that I am wrong. BGA is becoming the play only the easy scenarios will be played. That is very disappointing.

If you don't like the scenarios available in M44 Arena on BGA then don't play M44 Arena on BGA.

Please don't dumb down M44 on BGA for the rest of us.

Really we know your feelings on this but we are not asking to dumb down the game but to remove certain scenarios that require LESS thinking and skill
And this ONLY pertains to Arena so you can play any scenario you want in regular play
