How to fix a time-out loss

Post by Ceaseless »

I was lossed by time-out in a game I was actively playing in, while I was actively engaged in my turn. Is there a way to appeal and get that undone?

No. If you went over your time you can be clocked. That is just part of the rules of the site. If there was a bug you can report that.

Was this by chance a game just before 10:00 GMT this morning? The same happened to me. I made a move but saw that it didn't register, so I refreshed and got an error that I was unable to connect to BGA. I checked several other websites and could connect to them. Only BGA was affected.

However.....this page says that there was no issue on BGA at that time. Unless they can see an error on their servers they will not accept that there was a problem on their end and reverse the karma penalty, so I'm not even going to bother writing to support about this.

Unless you mean that you had negative time on your clock, in which case support won't help you because your opponents at their discretion can kick you once you run out of time.
