First of all, there are a ton of scenario's already implemented, and developers are diligently working to add more. You can even play your own right now. So no need to make a remark like that.
Yes many scenarios have been added, but not to the Arena.
jeroenh wrote: 11 February 2023, 16:26 Second, we're voting to remove scenario's from *ARENA* play for *this season*. That does not mean that they will be removed forever.
You're are naive to say that. Once removed a scenario will not be added back to the Arena.

16 players have now voted, but it will only show first 10 until upgrading to a paid plan, which I'm not doing. Sorry about this. If someone wants to take a stab at tallying votes using another method, please do.

I'd say the 4 below got enough votes to remove. The other 6 scenarios were between 30-60% voted to remove, not enough imo.

Sidi Rezegh Airfield (80% voted to remove)
1st Armored to the rescue (80% voted to remove)
Panzers versus Grants (70% voted to remove)
Knightsbridge (70% voted to remove)

16 players out of 788 Arena players = 2% is not sufficient to make any valid decision from any poll.

It shows most players don't use the forum and are not put off by these scenarios, despite what we may write.

The statistician and mathematician in me is horrified that 2% might be called a decision-making result.

Yeah, but those 2% are the ones that care. And we make up a pretty good chunk of the games played in Arena, I might remind you.

If you don't care enough to vote then you don't care about what happens and have no excuse to complain just put in your vote and stand by the results

While also making up the top Arena players, also, what is it that you most care about, if not the vote?

Maybe players simply don't care about some * * that are simply trying to create a game of their own liking.

It looks to me like this was all foretold - A Result coming from the last * about unfair points.
You might care and even profess to "love the game." You are not thinking "in the spirit of the game."

From what it looks like this is already a done deal...despite a vote (of any kind) or "in the spirit of the game."

Good Luck.

Just put your vote in instead of calling people names

calling people names
Funny you took it that way.
Just put your vote in
The vote is already in - I assure you; this is already a done deal. Now it's just a matter of which Scenarios are going to disappear, forever.

It was never presented as; "should we remove Scenario's" - it simply came up as - Urgent...lets Vote...vote for the instant removal of Scenarios!

(and stop acting like They will still be on Normal game play. I've been waiting two days for a normal non-random game and still haven't been able to play. Only Matches that seem to be available are in Random mode, AKA as Arena.)

You can host any scenario you want and just wait for someone to join so they are not gone forever
But BGA requires you to be a premium member to host more than 2 basic scenarios so that might be where your coming from

But really when players voice their opinions calling them whining crybabies is not really necessary and healthy for the forum
