Unbalanced Scenarios are a tool, a tool for learning.

It might have more to do with BGA than you know.
I am curious as to how you came to this conclusion?
Please elaborate.

Buffalo Sldr wrote: 13 February 2023, 02:20 This was a good move. No vote or discussion on whether Scenarios should be eliminated, at all. Just jump right into - Vote to eliminate...simply post a list of Scenarios and there you have it.

You won't get any objections from the Devs because this is easy enough to do. When bringing up some of the more important issues, dealing with M44 - It's become; Issues that you would rather see implemented, before the Devs take on some of the more Important issues (complex programming) - Slow down. Don't get too far ahead of yourself.
We did get objections from the devs. They stated removing scenarios will not simply be done. They also said the traction the previous topic had was to too smaal, not enough people reacted and those who did were not of one mind. So no action was taken to remove scenarios from the pool.

Never, ever, have I come across such a group of players who don't want to play scenarios because the cards and dice might not favour them.
Welcome to BGA.
In my opinion this has nothing to do with BGA.
In the Days of Wonder online version some scenarios seldom or never got picked to pay either.
You've already elaborated...where else have you seen this kind of behavior?
So no action was taken to remove scenarios from the pool.
why, continue seeing this type of behavior..."just [keep the] vote and wait."

 Idea: Before cards are dealt you see the scenario and have an option, something like >>Play<< or >>NewScenario<<. If BOTH players select >>NewScenario<< then a new one is randomly selected, but if EITHER selects >>Play<< then that one is played.

This might not be possible within the BGA framework, but wanted to throw it out there. This seems great to me because no scenarios would have to be eliminated but could be skipped if both players agree.

I have done this, and it works but sometimes not due to a language barrier or someone who Justs doesn't care to switch.

I've had players do this using "Abandon game" and chat. You don't necessarily get matched up again if you restart a new arena game, but you probably do.
