Are playing hours based on your location?

Sorry it's probably been asked before, but I couldn't find an answer.

When I set up a fast turn-based game, are the playing hours I choose for my location or is it GMT / BGA / some other base?

Hi,

This is just a guess, but I think the hours are displayed to a player depending on the country they have selected in their settings.
So if you are from the USA and another player is from France, the American huor will be automatically converted and displayed with the French time at the same moment.

Playing hours are dispayed based on location. I don't know the details about how exactly they get the local time but l'd say not with the country you selected because you are not obligated to select a country, some countries have more than one time zone, and that would not be practical not to change automatically if traveling to another time zone.
