Can't find private group invite

I've asked for, and apparently gotten, an invitation to a private group. Where do I find this invitation so I can accept it? The group moderator only shows me as being invited, so they can't just add me.

I am not sure about this, but you might try this:

Go to the COMMUNITY page. On the upper right side there is a textbox for searching for a group. Type there the correct name of the group and open its page - just like any other group so far. Then in public groups you find a button in the upper right corner to join the group. This is probably the same for private groups, but only if you have an invitation. (If you don't have an invitation, the button is not shown and it says "Only invited players can join this group".) I would assume you don't have to "know where the invitation is" in order to join.

I can't find the group using the community page, because it's not a public group. The name of the group is not searchable.

This fixed it for me:

1. Have a friend in the private group go to the group's page. They can do this by going to this link:
https://boardgamearena.com/player?section=groups

And then clicking on the group.

2. Have your friend copy the web address of the group and send it to you. The link will look something like this:

https://boardgamearena.com/group?id=XXXXXXXXX

where XXXXXXXX is the ID of the group.

3. When you click on that link, you will see an "Accept Invitation" button.
