That’s an interesting take. I checked one of your games from around the time of that post. You had back to back settlement placements and left yourself without brick, and didn’t have a 6. Your opponents both had access to everything from the start, which is big for a game where nobody trades. Yes, 6s hit a lot (still less than 2x expected) And 4s and 10s didn’t (still at least half as much as expected). But to think that BGAs algorithms select certain users to cheat out of victories is insane. Why are you, of all users, the one to be targeted?
Like many games, CATAN has an element of luck that can make some games a challenge and some games a breeze. Accept that, and know that if you play well, even though you’ll win some and lose some still, you’ll win a little bit more.
