Hoplomachus Remastered

I heard from several people on BGA that Hoplomachus Remastered is secretly in alpha phase. Can anybody confirm this to be true?

I sometimes wonder about posts like this... what is the thought process that goes into this? If it's "secret" then the developers have asked testers not to reveal for a certain period of time for reasons known to them, and will reveal it when they are ready. So what possible value does a post like this provide?
