I'm working on a local hotseat version of a board game.
Each player has a hand, which is hidden from other players.
What are some good examples to let one player know what's in their hand without letting other players know?
I have a few ideas.
1. A hidden area that the current player can show and hide quickly. While asking other players to look away.
2. Link another device, like a smart phone with a QR code or url to act as your hand and even game controls on your turn. Multiple devices could connect.
3. A variation on the cell phone theme, where the cell phone could be passed to the current player.
Has anyone done this well?
An example would be Hotseat poker?
