Accidentally clicked do on the wrong tile, it's due time for all games on BGA have an Undo buttom.

I started noticing a few games on BGA does a Undo button (usually for just 7 seconds, should be a little longer if implemented with countdown). I feel this feature should be included on all BGA games, as I just had a game where I Accidentally clicked on the wrong tile, giving me a lot of negative points.

I think the undo button is 3 seconds long.

Is there a way to make it longer? I was looking for it in the preferences but couldn’t find it.

I think this should be customizable especially would be good for accessibility.

My personal preference would be 5 or 7 seconds. 3 seconds is too short for me, by the time I realize my mistake the timer runs out.

Many games that have these timers implemented have an option to disable them as a User Preference, which can be found in the menu in the upper right of the game interface, or under the Options tab at the bottom of the game interface. If the game doesn't have this preference, it should absolutely be reported to the developer(s) as a suggestion report. I've been arguing against countdown timers ever since they started becoming a trend in 2020 for the exact reasons mentioned in this thread. 3 seconds is ludicrous, and completely unhelpful to anybody who isn't extremely familiar with the game, the BGA interface, and the design of the implementation, or anybody who doesn't have the reaction time of a professional video gamer.

Note that in some games, actions reveal previously-hidden information to whoever
took the action. Such cases would need to either be exceptions or delay the reveal.

Note that implement such feature is totally game depending.
You have to code it for each game separatly. You can't make it available for all games at once.

For some games it means much more development.
Undo feature means you restore the previous state of the game, which you should have saved before.
Without undoing, you just have to save the current state of the game, which is such easier.

I would love an undo feature in Carcassonne as I often accidentally tap the wrong spot to claim on the tile when the claiming spots are all very close to each other.
