Removing post-game comments

Post by deejinlondon »

Hi,

I would like to know who has the authority and/or how it is possible for someone to remove other players' comments left about a game that has already finished?

I was hoping I might get a definitive answer from a BGA admin or moderator (I am aware this forum is for players to discuss things), but I don't know how to contact BGA admins or moderators directly?

This is important because it is censorship, and why would some players have the authority/be allowed to censor other players' comments?

The comments contained no bad language.

You can be sure that no player can delete another player's message from the chat. We can't even delete our own messages, actually.

Only moderator/administrators can.

I guess I misunderstood. You didn't mean the chat, but the thread on the table after the results.
We can comment on any game of anyone from their history.

In these threads, we can delete our messages, and maybe all participants of the game can delete the messages of the non-participants.
