Starting a new game: Firefox freezes till friend joins

I have a new issue with the game. When I start a new game, then change it to "friends only", then click Ark Nova in the list of games on BGA, Firefox freezes...I have to quit it and restart it. The problem happens again every time I click Ark Nova in the list of games (not my games, but the list of all BGA games) as long as the invited friend joins the game and we select maps.

We've seen this as well. Was hesitant to report as a bug, since I'm not sure it's related to the Ark Nova game code, or BGA. But, every time we start an Ark Nova game, BGA goes crazy with error messages (503) and the game start page goes real weird. This finally resolves after about 10 minutes.

I have the same thing on Chrome, but 'only' when I finish a game and then want to reinvite the same player for a new game. Chrome locks up completely and I have to reboot Chrome to start another game.
I was also hesitant to report as a bug as I dont know where this is coming from. I havent tested with other games yet, but it is consistent when reinviting for new Ark Nova games...

Yes - this is exactly how it triggers for us too. It must be related to the game, as I don't have this happen in any other lobby.
