Playing animals wrong all this time?

When playing IRL, we've always just played 2 animals allowed at power 5, but any 1 animal at any other power. But it seems that the enclosure size counts as the animal's "power positition" on here. Thoughts?

I wasn't able to play an animal, but now I'm thinking perhaps there was a condition or money that I didn't have. Sometimes there is so much going on... on a different note, are you able to choose your 'reward' when making donations? It just took my money! (and got one conservation point.)

When you hover on an animal card, it should list the requirements, each with a green tick mark or red cross.

As for donations (0-strength association), it's always money for 1 CP. Are you thinking of something else (like the conservation projects or whatever they're called, 5-strength association)?

wait, did you always take cubes from the left side of your board for donations?

if you did, you played this really really wrong all the time.

you take a cube from your supply to make donations. you only take cubes from the left side of the board when you support a conservation project.

Ok, so I've been playing animals right but donations wrong! Thank you guys - man, this game is even more challenging! But I love it...
