1. Don't play General store unless you have a brief idea on the roles of the players after you. e.g. at the start of the game, Sheriff should avoid to play General store since you may not know if your next player is an Outlaw or not. You will give him an advantage to select a card from the pile. Same apply when you know your next two players are from the different team, just don't play General store.
2. First Outlaw player reveal your role by Banging sheriff or the player ahead him (since I can assume in most of the case, the second player not attacking the Sheriff is because his role is a Vice or a Regenade). This help the other Outlaw to find his teammate and for Regenade to access the current situation.
3. As a Regenade, the role is to balance the game. In a 6P game, better kill an Outlaw first and then kill the Deputy.
4. In a Sheriff - Regenade - Deputy standing situation, Sheriff try to balance the situation and keep a defensible hand. Just don't die. Because some toxic player may rather kill you to let Outlaws win.
