Never heard of most of these games!

Post by JazHaz »

I want some classic board games, for example Clue/Cluedo, Ludo, Mousetrap, Kerplunk!, and Snakes and Ladders!

You do realize they can't just add games like that, right? A lot of companies don't want their games offered on a service like this.

BGA isn't really about those types of games, but they may be available elsewhere online.

Alternatively, you could try out some of the games offered here, you may find something you like even better (I'd start with the casual games, and probably play a tutorial first - the tutorials are quite helpful in learning new games).

Hello JazHaz,
I would like to suggest you a few alternatives and hope that there is something nice for you :D

All of them are easy to learn and you can find tutorials for each of them to teach you!
You can also check the game's pages for links to tutorial videos. If you prefer a personal teacher, you could ask for help in this group: https://boardgamearena.com/group?id=1111129
But if you really don't want to learn new games, then BGA is probably not he right platform for you.

Clue/Cluedo:
13 clues is basically the same game. You can find it here: https://boardgamearena.com/gamepanel?game=thirteenclues
You might also try https://boardgamearena.com/gamepanel?game=breakthecode and https://boardgamearena.com/gamepanel?game=yokai, which are also deduction games. Yokai is played as cooperative game.

Ludo / Snakes and Ladders:
Toc is very much the same as Ludo, and can be played competitive or in teams: https://boardgamearena.com/gamepanel?game=toc
Some other games of this kind you might like are https://boardgamearena.com/gamepanel?game=cantstop and https://boardgamearena.com/gamepanel?game=thatslife

Mousetrap / Kerplunk:
3D-games are not so easy to implement online and may be not as much fun as in real life. But here is one you might look at: https://boardgamearena.com/gamepanel?game=cloudcity

Here are some more classic games:
https://boardgamearena.com/gamepanel?game=farkle
https://boardgamearena.com/gamepanel?game=crazyeights
https://boardgamearena.com/gamepanel?ga ... eandmalice

But BGA also has some "new classics" which are easy to learn and might suit you:
https://boardgamearena.com/gamepanel?game=luckynumbers
https://boardgamearena.com/gamepanel?game=tickettoride
https://boardgamearena.com/gamepanel?game=sechsnimmt
https://boardgamearena.com/gamepanel?game=solo
They are all very popular here!

I hope you'll find something you like. Have fun!
