Three locomotives have been revealed, visible train cards are replaced

At many of the games I've played - maybe all but I don't want to exaggerate - the message 'Three locomotives have been revealed, visible train cards are replaced' pops up in the log when the first five train cards are being laid out. Just now I checked the ten newest games from the games in progress page and surely all those have the same log message.

Is this actually happening, or is it a bug perhaps? If so, I'll submit it as such, just wanted to ask for input first.

my guess is that, it is a bug.
The dev has just used the same function call that places 5 train cards out because it has the same result, but inadvertently still has that message.

The 3 locomotives rule is checked at start as it can happen, but this message will only show if it actually happened. But in case of game start, you don't see it, as it's replaced before the game ends to load. But it's not a bug.

So it's just a happy coincidence that in (almost?) every game, there are three locomotives in the first draw? Or am I understanding your explanation incorrectly?

Probably yes, but make counts of how much it happens vs when it doesn't, and it shouldn't be so high with a good enough sample. You probably notice less what doesn't happen

I've been checking the recently started games here, (recently started, so no need to scroll to see the log) and honestly haven't been able to find one where the log message doesn't show up...
Just checked another 10 to 20, and the 'visible train cards are replaced' message was in all of them.

I checked and you're right, it is also used by init. The message shouldn't show on this case.
