Game Auto-Canceled when we made break

Hi there,

me and my friends played some arc nova last night. One of us had to go, so we decided to stop playing and resume today.
When we came online today out game got cancelled cause of "too much time since last turn" or something like that.

We created a new game today, which we had to pause again. Since we knew about the pause to happen we opened the game as "match with friends" without timer and without elo. We thought, that we could pause forever in this mode.
Turns out...we could not. Game was canceled again.

My questions are:
1. Is there an option to turn off auto-cancel?
2. Is there a way to officially pause the game?
3. After what amount of time do the games get canceled?

It looks like your games of Ark Nova were being played in Real-Time mode. Games in real time mode are cancelled automatically if too much time passes (I believe it's four hours) without a player taking a turn. If you want to be able to take a long break during a game, you should either start the game in Turn-Based mode, or change the game from Real-Time to Turn-Based mode when you all decide to take a break.
