Re: [BEWOLF] 6th Battle / A Bridge not too far away
Game 1: Deepnet (axis) vs TG37 (allies): 5-8, 24-38
Game 2: Deepnet (allie) vs TG37 (axis): 8-5, 38-26
1-1 games, 62-64 units... TG37 squeaks a win by units!
Game 1 saw TG37 get some pretty good dice which I could not overcome at any point.
But Game 2 was very interesting. Knowing I had to preserve my units, I played very defensively. TG37 also took his time, letting me play a few recons to gain some good cards. I kept him at bay for a while maintaining the lead, until I ran out of cards on my left flank, and he was able to get to 5 medals. At that point, I could take the center medal to win the game, but I thought I would be one unit short to win. So, I barraged a lone one unit, thinking I would be ahead by one unit. BUT... I miss counted and ended up losing by 2 units!
Well played TG37... a very interesting long last game, hard fought!

Game 1: Junior72 (allied) vs Sacas59 (axis): 8-6, 32-21 (1 objectif for Junior72)
Game 2: Junior72 (axis) vs Sacas59 (allied): 8-4, 27-22 (1 objectif for Junior72)
Junior72 - Sacas59 : 4-0 points with 16-10, 59-43 figs (2 objectifs for Junior72)
2 different battles : the first, no close combat because allied units are in the caves. The second, japanese units come in waves through the caves. Si i roll 159 dice vs 120 for Sacas.
Thanks for the games and good continuation, Sacas

Aller Vlad Jap - 8 (36 Figs) - PAF 42 UK - 5 (31 Figs)
Retour Vlad UK - 7 (28 Figs - 1 Obj) - PAF42 Jap - 8 (27 Figs - 1 Obj)
Amicalement

Jeronimon vs Winn81
Game 1: Jeronimon (allied) vs Winn81 (axis): 8-5, 31-27 (1 objective for Jeronimon)
Game 2: Jeronimon (axis) vs Winn81 (allied): 6-8, 30-32 (0 objectives)
Jeronimon vs Winn81 : 3-1 points with 14-13, 61-59 figs (1 objective for Jeronimon)
Game1
My men took and sealed the cave on the left, but that flank was where most of the battle took place. Wave after wave of Japanese infantry crossed the bridge. I decimated them but they kept coming. I got two medals from British stiff upper lip battle backs that really helped.
Then at the end I took the objective and had 2 dice for a win on 1 tank but whiffed. Winn81 tried to push me off the objective but failed and my airplanes took out the tank for the win.
Game 2
I funneled lots of infantries through the cave but Winn81 kept decimating them. he took a lead in the medals but I shot his infantry of the medal to gain time and the sixth medal I need to win the game before he got to 8 medals
it is fun playing against Winn81. Always tight matches with lots of hard thinking needed to counter whatever he is thinking up.
Thanks for playing and looking forward to you taking revenge (or not

FredMK79 vs Waikirikiri
Game 1: FredMK79 (Allies) 5 medals (22 figures) vs Waikirikiri (Axis) 8 medals (27 figures)
Game 2: FredMK79 (Axis) 8 medals (31 figures) vs Waikirikiri (Allies) 6 medals (28 figures)
Total: FredMK79 13 medals (53 figures) vs Waikirikiri 14 medals (55 figures)
Decisive Victory for Waikirikiri 3 points vs FredMK79 1 point.
Two hard fought battles with the Axis player using the caves to their advantage in both battles.
In both battles the Axis player had the better of the dice and cards which helped their cause.
The second battle could have been won by either player, with the dice failing Waikirikiri at the end.
FredMK79 deserved the win in the second battle.
Thanks to FredMK79 for the match, wishing you better luck/cards/dice in the nesxt round.

Re: [BEWOLF] 6th Battle / A Bridge not too far away

Total : Zivago - Titanos : 3-1 Points / 14-12 Meds / 62-59 Figs
