Hannabi - Removing ELO ?

Post by OliveAbu »

Hi,

I quite enjoy to play Hannabi but it starts to be quite annoying to play because of people only focused on ELO. I mean it is a collaborative game but people took it as a competitive game:
If you discard the wrong card, or can't reach 25 points (which is the maximum). So many people ask to leave the game to avoid losing ELO. And if you refuse they will just throw away the game.

No fun to play like that. Do you often see that kind of player or is it just me ?

Hi, I really agree about this statement.

Few tips I use :
- I write a private note about players who ask for abandon when a mistake is done (or even when they just get frustrated for no reason)
- I report the players who intentionally throw the game (after I refused to abandon, most of the time), and write a public note on their profile

Note, you can join the group Hanabi NO abandon players and only allow the players of this group to join your tables.

Maybe your post would reach more Hanabi players if you posted it in the category of the forum dedicated to Hanabi ;)

Play in friendly mode, there's no ELO.
