How can I "save" a game

Post by Tubilderborst »

We are playing a long game in the "direct" mode and shall probably not be able to finish it in one session. Is there a possibility to save it and continue say 3 days later?

Use a holiday time joker.

If "direct" mode means real-time, and you can continue playing tomorrow, just switch the game to turn-based mode (top-right menu in the game screen).

ah yes, mis-read that initial statement.

Don't even need to use a holiday joker, as Jellby says transfer the game to turn-based unlimited time (friends mode).

I changed real-time games to turn-based games before, and if I remember correctly, the frequency was set automatically to 3 turns per day (?). If you found a way to select a different frequency, please let me know how to do this.

I've only done it a few times, but I seem to remember it was 1 turn per day. Perhaps it depends on the game and/or the chosen real-time speed. What is sure (at least when I did it) is that you have no choice, you just get whatever you get.
