Grey Board tile placement question

Hello,

I find I may have messed up when placing tiles in the variant gray board version of Azul creating a situation where I can't place a tile and complete my column. Can you place two tiles on your wall with the same color in the same row? The rules say you only have to avoid two of the same color vertically for this variant, but I don't know if that is how the BGA version works.

Please advise.

Hi the rules for the gray side state that “the Rules are exactly the same as in the normal game”
(After that it states the rule you mention)

In the normal game you cannot have two tiles of the same color in one row. So I would agree with thoun and say you cannot.

Damn. I screwed up, then. That means I lost lots of points and have a dead zone on my wall.
