Arena Mode Points Calculation.

Could someone take the time to explain how the score that a player attains when they first reach the Elite League is calculated or reached?

When a player successfully gets promoted from the Silver League (The Silver League has a much clearer points increase/decrease scoring system) to the Elite the players receive a particular score or rating such as 1565.

For example, why is it one player starts on 1593 and another starts on 1560? There was no differnce in the game result and the 1 point increase for both examples.

How is this seemingly arbitrary figure calculated?

Arena points are basically calculated similar to the ELO rating in the games, just that it only takes Arena games into consideration (and may have some parameters of the ELO algorithm tweaked, not sure about that).

As soon, as you start playing Arena, you get Arena points, but they are hidden, until you reach Elite league. Once you reach Elite, your current Arena points get visible. So depending on how your Arena game history looks when you reach Elite, you can have different Arena points.

What does arena game history encompass that goes into the calculation ? Number of wins and losses for that season?

As far as I know, only current season. Every one starts each season with 1500 EAS (Elite Arena Score). Each user may start a season in a different league, depending on their performance in the previous season, but the EAS is the same.
