There are Maps like Europe and Switzerland that are much more fun than USA.
I dont know if the game owner allows it, but if they do, it is worth it.

Those strike me as new mechanics (as you say) rather than something specific to the map even though tunnels and ferries appear on the map.

Usually, map-specific mechanics never reappear outside of that map. Tunnels, ferries and stations do, and the Europe map would be the best one to teach these mechanics on because it has a fair amount of both tunnels and ferries. Other maps frequently choose to exclude some of them - for example, Switzerland has about 50% of the tracks in tunnels but 0 ferries, while Africa has exactly 2 ferries to Madagascar and 0 tunnels.thg0724 wrote: ↑30 August 2023, 03:40Those strike me as new mechanics (as you say) rather than something specific to the map even though tunnels and ferries appear on the map.
The most obvious map difference is the lack of 5 length routes and the presence of an 8 length route. I don't feel like the long routes (6s and in Europe the 8) play as much of a role as they do in the original, but that could be because the limited Europe I have played has been mostly 4+ players and never just 2, while a lot of the original I play is 2-player on line.Ondrashek06 wrote: ↑30 August 2023, 22:01
