I wished this, too.

And I hope they talk not only with 'editors' but with me, game designer.

They don't know who has online rights of the games because they don't know which rights are sold to the publishers and for which time.

In the meantime you can read the FAQ http://en.boardgamearena.com/#!page/faq which is terrible referring to copyrights.
And nobody named as responsible person for this site (I don't found any real name). Is this legal in France?

My games are still online, although you promised me in private chat to remove it until we had talked about.

Sometimes copyright violation happens 'by accident' or rather unexperienced persons.
Then it can be solved. But sometimes it's with intent and commercial.

With your behaviour without any need you continue wasting my time, increasing the damage for you and me
(and call this 'win-win-situation').

And do you really think you can hide yourself behind your avatar?
If this continues, you may force me to press charges against you, to get your name and my rights back.
The situation is just becoming another dimension.
REMOVE THE GAMES INSTANTLY!

You might want to refresh your browser. Indeed, the games "Kahuna" and "Hey, that's my fish!" are not available for more than two hours now. (So approximatively when you asked it.) You can check by looking at the time of the last game of both.

Above there is a line:
58 online players: 30 playing • 28 available

When I went to the game

Hey, that's my fish
Now on Board Game Arena:
395 joueurs inscrits, 23 Online:
• 12 Available incl. 1 Hearts [now 8 available]
• 0 playing

Kahuna
Now on Board Game Arena:
313 joueurs inscrits, 13 Online:
• 8 Available incl. 4 Hearts [now 5 available]
• 0 playing

and I find the covers who is available to play.
If this is not true, I cannot know.

But now I also see the games are not in the little hidden menue list.
So I'll believe that the game are not playable now and 2 hours before.
But the site shows them as available right now. This should not be.

Also the email from your anonymous admin now arrived, with real name and friendly words.
But I never give rights to anonymous website.

And after the experience with Carassonne and Settlers he should know that he has ask before.
I'd call the serious webmasters of brettspielnetz.de and yucata.de fools, if I'd give the rights now after this behaviour and wasting my time even after my complaint.

Moreover the FAQ shows that your admin didn't understood, that he has to ask before:

You are perfectly right. The pages dedicated to the games are pretty confusing and it is not clear whether the games are available or not. Apparently this is the same for all the games. Lost cities is also marked as available in its dedicated page, even though it is not playable for several months now.

So I understand even more now that you were thinking the games were still available. In fact, without a refresh (F5) of the browser since noon, "Kahuna" and "Hey, that's my fish" would still appear in the "Play now" menu. This last reason motivated me to advise you to refresh your browser in my last post.

I have to admit that this paragraph can be considered as pretty borderline and I can understand that you are upset. And I agree with you that the third category of players, those who play but will not buy the "physical" games, definitely exists. However, I do believe that the two kinds mentioned in the faq exist and are not negligible at all. I have obviously no proof of it but I still can give you my example.

On all the games available now or in the past on this website, I own 7 (more precisely 5 games and 2 extensions of these games). Among these 7, I already possessed 3 before the existence of this website, and I bought 4 (or made me offer them as gifts). I bought or gave gift propositions of all these 4 (including Kahuna) because this website made me discover or re-discover these games and, more important, made me love to play them.

I cannot give rights to website with such strange rules.

Again, I understand that you are upset about the situation but I hope you will at least consider discussing this issue with the webmaster. Of course, the decision will be yours at the end.

Indeed, as a player, I would love being able to play again at Kahuna on this website. In real life, I have too few occasions to play this game. Kahuna can be quite discouraging for new players, with score of 0-6 or even worse in the first games. I personnaly used to dislike Kahuna because of this, when I played the "physical" game with some friends. I rediscovered the game on this website and learned to love it. With Dominion, they are my favorite games.
