Anachrony Arena season didnt end?

isnt the arena season supposed to have ended ? can someone explain anachrony to me

i don't get what happened, it just seams that it continues with same ranking and only number of games played were reset?

Same thing happened to boop last season. It was released from beta partway through Season 12 and then just continued into Season 13. I think they do that so games will have, at minimum, a full 90-day arena season.

didn't happen for ark nova which was also released through the season
