General Chat: 240 seconds????

First the chat says that the message is too long. Chop it in half and it tells you that you have to wait 60 seconds between messages. Try to write a follow up sentence and it then says you have to wait a minimum of 240 seconds between messages. What's the next escalation? Wait a year?

I'm glad that the General Chat is limited to premium members, but as paid members why must we be treated like babies who can't have a decent exchange of ideas in real time??

It's impossible to have a conversation when you're being that micro-managed! Who has time to wait 4 minutes between messages you can post? I paid for that???

Because paying for premium doesn't have anything to do with chat. It gives you some extra features, but no special treatment.

Your complaints may be legitimate, but that's unrelated to premium.

Personally, I've turned off general chat notifications because I don't want to get spammed with random messages.
I did this because even with the restrictions you mentioned, it still bothered me.

IMO this channel is not a good one to talk on, because a chat is a total mess with too many users.
Better use a forum to have constructive discussions, or some more talkative tools like Discord seems more appropriate to me.
