ELO Rating

Just an thought but the ELO system does seem very punitive at times. You could have 4 players on a game each with an ELO within 20 points of each other and winner will get 4 to 8 points of a boost while the 4th place player will lose like 30 to 50 points at times. This is the extreme of course but seems like the loses are weighted way more then the wins. Maybe a balance rethink in this system? Just a thought. Love BGA and most the people here.
