BGA prompted log out?

I have been on here a few years now, and have never had BGA log out with me being the one to prompt it. Yet today I came back after a few hours and was logged out. Did this happen to any one else? I'm hoping it's just related to some updates or new coding or something, and not a hack (although why someone would hack my BGA account, I have not idea...).

Apologies if I'm stating the obvious - but did you (or someone else with access to your device) clear cookies in your browser? Either clearing them all or just those for the boardgamearena.com domain would do exactly this.

No problem stating the obvious - I didn't mention it at all in my original post; they have not been cleared. I also checked other devices that I had already logged in to BGA, and none of them signed out. I'm hoping it was maybe just a weird errant mouse click when I booted up my computer, as sometimes the browser takes an extra second to come back online.
