looking at your profile, you play TTA and that game has a timer that does give you a couple of seconds returned so long as you are moving. I have NEVER seen it taken advantage to what you're saying.

I don't play real time TTA (it's possible I have once when I first joined, but not sure), so if that's a thing, I wasn't aware of something like that.

I'd be curious to hear exactly what it's doing and how it's implemented then.

I said I don't play "real time." Those are all (or almost all) turn based, not real time.

I really Like the Idea to extent the Timer once or twice a Game If you have longer Turns, or need to redo a Long Turn or Something.

I have a lot of experience in this game (in real but not so much on BGA) and I have 2 suggestions (I don't know what is technicaly possible) :
1. I like the idea to have the opportunity to extend the timer twice during the game
OR
2. When we have the possibility to play another action, with a x2 or an other way that say play this action after your action. The app finish the turn but in place to give the hand to the other player, start the second action with a new timer. So like this when you have 2 actions to do, you have 2 turn to do it. It can take long for the other player but I think it's fair to have dubble times to do dubble actions.

I think the problem for this is the undo. But the developer looks into this, if there is a way to also get the double time only once

I checked this game, you went on the red time even before this move, 2 moves before. The other player was able to kick you out even before when you were doing simple moves like playing one animal or sponsor for money.
Instead of complaining about timer play longer games or make simpler moves faster so you have more time for more complicated stuff, timer is not an issue.
You would comfortably perform your last actions if you didnt take so long before, what are you mad about, timer doing the thing its supposed to?

Stop normalizing going over the time limit. In chess, if you clock goes to 0 you instantly lose (and don't even try implying that chess is simpler), i would be grateful for being able to even continue the game after exceeding time 3 times.

I fully agree with you.
I rediscover that site since few weeks.
It take pretty long time to discover and understand all the way to set parameters.

In a 4 players games, after more than one hour of game, we have been 2 players expelled, me at the véry first 1st second of the first time my timer was negative. And this happend without any warning nor discussion to ask to play faster during the game.
There is here a kind of players here who are not actual game players, but are ELo rank hunters, who starts games to have the pleasure of kicking opponents out.

The 2 players expelled was the leaders of this game.
The 2 others finished the game without them mater later and get the ELO points.
That very agressive behaviour is a perversion of the ranking and time control systems, and that kind of ELO hunters bad players is a plague, who can make many people leave this nice site.

The game is here : https://boardgamearena.com/table?table=401591095

It should be good to have a way for a quick discussion with the players of the games, before to validate the participation, to discuss that kind of thing, nad avoir that kind of bad experiences.

i still feel like it shouldnt be possible to kick someone who played faster than yourself overall.

and you ask what im mad about? im mad about getting kicked while i click on the very last card of the game. also im mad about the server being really slow, which costs me at least 1-2minutes every game.
the game would have been over the moment i click on that card. do you really feel like its fair, that its possible to get kicked just in that second? the game would have lasted 1 second longer.

and i couldnt care less about chess btw and how the clock there works. its not like we play for money or something, even in arena mode. the timer just shouldnt lead to such frustrating expiriences.

the idea to add 30 seconds or something to your timer once or twice a game, if something happpens or whatever i really like.
because we still only play for fun, even if arena is competetive, there is nothing on the line here.
and it can always happen that something happens in your life, or even if you just need to go to toilett whatever. for those situations it should be possible to add some emergency time to your clock.
