SUMMER of GAMES 2023: a full month of daily releases!

Don't worry as we will have more events like this, but we will make sure you're warned wayyyy before.
It's also a way for us to know the reach we currently have on our newsfeeds, social networks and interactivity coming from them.
A way to challenge ourselves to know more about what is seen/what is not, and how we should handle stuff like this.
We learn everydays, and we are thankful for your feedback.

Don't forget that it's mostly about games being released, but we understand clearly that this kind of small challenges can be more fun when they include everyone in the best way.
Btw we have one question for thoses who felt left behind: would an email about it have helped?

I'm not sure an email would have helped. I tend to live on the news page and the games in progress page so if it is not super prominent on one of those I could easily miss it. Probably would also help if the date was consistent and messaging for a couple weeks in advance.

Not complaining, btw. I get that I just missed out on this one. I just wanted to provide the feedback.

I opened the second chest just now, but didn’t see my cute little animal. (I have the one for yesterday.)
Also, on my iPad, I don’t see the chests when I hold it in Portrait orientation, only in Landscape. Is this the same for all mobile devices?

There's 4 animals to unlock:
1 for the 1st day you click the calendar, another one for a few days streak, another one for a 20 days streak, and the final one for having clicked all treasure chest daily.
No more, no less

So if you miss day 1 you still have the opportunity to win the other trophies, but not the last one which would require all days to be clicked.
For thoses who missed them, sorry about it, but it's the same rule and functionnality we offer every years for more than 3 years.
Is there some stuff to be fixed ? Always.
But that's also the beauty of having limited trophies. This shouldn't affect the joy to discover games and indies, on a daily basis .

Okay, but nowhere in the pre-August info did it say anything about time zones. Many game sites use local time, so that's what I was expecting. Otherwise, thanks for all the fun! I'm kind of glad I missed the 1st day, now I won't obsess about it for the rest of the month.

If you click the newly released game EVERY day, you will unlock achievements to beautify your account. Unique. Beautiful. And this year the trophies you can get from this unique event are... cute animals.

So this post got me curious to see my beautifications and I went hunting. I finally found the new cute trophies in the "BGA" category of my XP achievements. Fun but kinda buried.

Is there any way to make the trophies more visible? For example, use a trophy as my avatar? Or show my most recent trophy when someone clicks on my avatar?

I was on all day yesterday and never saw the calendar. Not a good start for me. Can you make it up to me by releasing some of the games in the alpha and beta prisons?

I opened it at 7 pm on August 1st where I am (central USA) but apparently this is on French time where it's Aug 2 now, so I've already failed the full month challenge.
